We often get asked "When is the best time to seed?" And the answer is...NOW! Fall and Winter seeding is a great way to get your prairie started. The freeze/thaw cycle helps anchor the seed into the soil and allows the seed to go through the stratification process. Most native wildflower species require stratification to germinate and grow into the beautiful flowers we love to enjoy in the Spring/Summer months and our pollinator friends need to survive. So..."Throw it on the Snow and Let it Grow!"
