Pollinator

Native and Industrial (Honey Bee) pollinators are under increasing pressure from habitat degradation, changing agriculture and landscape practices and pesticides. Planting native ecosystems on any scale is a great way to mitigate this pressure. Native pollinators provide ecological free (No one gets a bill!) services to agriculture as well as the native ecosystems that they are a part of.

The following document describes in some detail the services that native pollinators supply.
