Let It Rain Garden™ Information
Rain Gardens Ohio Prairie Nursery offers our Let it Rain Garden ™ as a solution for homeowners who want to do their part in helping to control stormwater runoff. Controlling stormwater runoff from roofs and other impervious surfaces around most homes is a major component of our national and regional water pollution control efforts. The addition of these stormwater control features on your existing or new home site will help keep your local watershed free of particulate pollution and excessive flow rates which cause erosion and degrade habitat down stream. See the links section below for additional information on rain gardens and our local installer network. Garden packages are available for pickup at the nursery by appointment only or are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays to minimize the chance of them spending the weekend in a hot truck or warehouse. Gardens are shipped from April 16th through June 5th only.

Rain Garden Record Keeping
In order to document and track installed rain gardens, Ohio Prairie Nursery has created a Rain Garden Record keeping page. No personal information will be shared without prior consent. The collected information will be used to track the total number of Rain Gardens installed throughout Ohio and the surrounding region. Future water quality studies may utilize this information and it will also help educate and other individuals and groups on the need to protect our streams and waterways. Please follow the link below to register your garden. We appreciate your concern for our natural water resources and for participating in this registration program.
