A short-lived perennial, Rough Bentgrass normally blooms in April through May and is found in moist to dry soils such as grasslands, meadows, wetlands and dry, rocky slopes.
A good plant for soil erosion, it reaches heights of 3 to 6 feet and prefers full sun.
