When the Wright Brothers returned from North Carolina, they located a wide open prairie to improve upon their flying skills. Today, Huffman Prairie is part of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and is an Ohio Natural Landmark. This mix is designed to mimic what would be seen on site. It prefers full sun and mesic soil. It attracts numerous butterflies, pollinators and songbirds.
