Our Rain Garden for sunny locations is composed of all native floodplain species that are adapted to full sun to 30% shade and can tolerate a wide range of soil moistures. Rain garden soil moistures can vary widely from soaked or submerged during wet periods to very dry in the summer or in drought conditions. These native floodplain species have adapted to these conditions over thousands of years and once established perform superbly in rain gardens.
Garden packages are designed to cover approximately 100 square feet and are shipped pre-packaged. Shipments are made early in the week to minimize the chance of spending the weekend in a hot truck or warehouse. Gardens are shipped May through July 1st.
