"The “Native Wildlife Habitat Garden™” uses all native plants to replicate an indigenous Midwestern, Northeastern or Mid-Atlantic plant community. The Garden covers 100 to 150 square feet, has a total of 28 plants and is comprised of three shrub, two grass and seven wildflower species from the following list, all carefully selected to attract and benefit wildlife. The Garden has been designed for yards with normal soil and soil moisture and at least six hours of sun. The shrubs provide nectar sources and nest sites in the spring and summer, fruit and seed sources in the fall and winter. The grasses provide seed in the fall and structure throughout the fall and winter. The wildflowers provide larval food and nectar sources for butterflies and hummingbirds, and seed sources for songbirds and small mammals. Plant this wonderful garden in your yard and watch the wild times begin. Garden packages are available for pickup at the nursery or can be shipped. Shipments are made only on Mondays and Tuesdays to minimize the chance of them spending the weekend in a hot truck or warehouse. Gardens are shipped from April 15th through June 5th only.
